**Friday is the deadline for the PTSA-sponsored art contest known as Reflections. Get those entries in NOW! There are several art categories; just need to reflect the theme of "I Belong" Let's have a good showing since we're an ART school!!**

On Friday we had our first Student Appreciation Event, in which we handed out snacks to fuel our kids for their last day before Fall Break. These are the kind of events we can do more of with your help!

We are in immediate need of a Reflections Chairperson! This person would coordinate the PTA-sponsored art contest that is encompasses visual arts, dance, film, writing, and more. Longleaf has participated in this in the past, and we'd like to be able to do so again, but we need a point person. There is an info session on 9/3, so time is of the essence.
