Congratulations to the Class of 2026!

Our SRCS community came together to celebrate our graduating Guardians as they completed their journey at Saint Raphael Catholic School.

The Baccalaureate Mass was a beautiful celebration of thanksgiving for God’s continued guidance throughout their years at SRCS bringing students and families and faculty and staff together in prayer and gratitude.

The Guardian Clap Out followed as students, faculty, staff and families lined up to cheer on the Class of 2026. It was filled with applause, smiles and joyful moments as we honored our graduating Guardians.

During the Promotion Ceremony we honored the Class of 2026 for their academic growth, leadership, accomplishments at SRCS as they prepared to begin their next chapter.

As our Guardians move forward, we pray they continue to walk closely with Christ, guided by faith, strengthened by hope and grounded in love. May they carry with them the values formed within the halls of SRCS, always remembering that once a Guardian, always a Guardian.

We are proud of the Class of 2026 and entrust them to God’s loving care as they begin this next chapter. May they continue to grow in wisdom, serve others with compassion and shine as witnesses of Christ in all they do.

On this Memorial Day, we pause in solemn remembrance and prayer for the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. We reflect with gratitude on the gift of freedom and the great sacrifice through which it is preserved. At Saint Raphael Catholic School, we honor these fallen heroes and entrust them to the loving mercy of God, praying that He grant them eternal rest and everlasting peace.

As a Catholic school community, we remember their courage and selfless service through the light of our faith. We pray for the souls of the fallen and for the comfort and strength of their families and loved ones. May their sacrifice inspire us to live lives rooted in faith, compassion, and service to others.

Let us remember the words of Jesus: “Greater love has no one than this, to lay down one’s life for one’s friends” (John 15:13). May we always hold our heroes in our hearts and prayers.

As our 8th grade Guardians approach the final steps on their Path to Promotion, we pause to reflect on a year filled with unforgettable memories, lasting friendships, and meaningful milestones. From the excitement of the Teacher vs. 8th Grade Kickball Game to their final school Mass, the cherished moments shared during the Legacy Retreat at Fort Caswell, and the emotions of their last day walking the halls of SRCS, each experience has helped shape their journey into the young men and women they are becoming.

Tonight’s Baccalaureate Mass offers a special opportunity for our students, families, faculty, and community to come together in gratitude and prayer. It is a moment to reflect on the blessings, friendships, lessons, and growth that have defined their middle school years and to celebrate the incredible accomplishments of this remarkable class.

With hearts full of gratitude and Guardian pride, we celebrate the Class of 2026 and look forward with excitement and hope to all that lies ahead. Once a Guardian, always a Guardian.

During the month of Mary, we celebrated a beautiful and meaningful tradition at SRCS as our second grade Guardians led the May Crowning ceremony in honor of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Having recently received their First Holy Communion, our Guardians were filled with the joy of the Lord and love for the Blessed Mother.

May Crowning is a cherished tradition in our Catholic faith and at SRCS, reminding us of the importance of humility, prayer, and devotion. As our second grade Guardians continue to grow in their faith, this beautiful ceremony will remain a lasting memory and a symbol of their commitment to following Christ’s teachings. Let us keep them in our prayers as they continue their journey with the Lord, strengthened by the Eucharist and guided by the loving hands of Mary.

One of the most exciting new additions to this year’s Champions of Tomorrow Gala was the Guardian Cart: Middle School Double Snack Takeover. This unique auction item brought a fun and memorable experience to our middle school students, creating extra excitement on campus with a special snack-filled celebration.

We are especially grateful to our generous SRCS families: Barret & Kelly Stauffacher, Ron & Tiffany Bauer, Greg & Leigh Ann Rotz, and Brian & Ali Turner, for their support in making this experience possible. Their contributions helped bring joy to our Guardians and added something truly special to this year’s Champions of Tomorrow gala.

A special thank you as well to our Principal Mr. Whitmore and Assistant Principal Mr. Dapolito for helping bring this experience to life.
