𝐖𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐡𝐫𝐚𝐬𝐞 "𝐋𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐛𝐨𝐝𝐲," 𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐝𝐨𝐞𝐬 𝐢𝐭 𝐦𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐟𝐞𝐞𝐥?
The phrase is positive + empowering. Most women would encourage their friends + women in their lives to love their bodies. But when it comes to their own body... it's a completely different story.
It's hard to implement this phrase in our own lives, thoughts, and perspective of our own body. I believe the first step is not striving for perfection + society's definition of beauty. It's first determining your definition of beauty and then implementing unconditional love towards your body.
Your body is beautiful, it is good, it is a temple worthy to be dressed to showcase it's beauty.

If I ask you a question, would you be honest with me? 🤔
Have you ever bought clothes because they seemed cute in the store or they were on sale (and you LOVEEEEE a deal)?
👍🏽Yes? Ok. That's what I thought.
What are the outcomes when you shop like this? Do you find you have a closet full of cute stuff but nothing really goes together? Do you find it hard to put outfits together?
Why? It is because you didn't shop with a purpose + a plan. When we shop for cute things, sometimes they are not always the same style personality- so your closet feels like a bunch of random things. This is why it's hard to pull outfits together because it's like shopping at Anthropologie, Ann Taylor, and a vintage consignment store. It's not in alignment of who you are and your personal style. It might be an a bunch of styles you saw influencers wear. Don't worry there is hope., my friend.
Once you have defined your personal style you can shop with purpose and direction. You will know
✔️what aligns with your personal style
✔️what stores carry pieces that reflect your style
✔️which will make putting outfits together fun!
