Greetings 1972 Classmates,
We pray and hope that by the time you receive this message all is well with you and yours.
We are writing to update you on our plans for our FIRST 45th Class Reunion. It is amazing to think that 45 years ago we graduated from our respective high schools.
We can never forget our original alma mater –J W Ligon High School. That being said, a committee has been formed to spearhead a1972 class reunion – to celebrate what we were not able to do, together, as Ligon Graduates, 45 years ago.
The Committee is planning a reunion of fellowship, food, fun, reminiscing the past and making new memories! There are over 250 classmates to contact. We need your help in gathering the names, physical and/ or e-mail addresses, and phone numbers of our classmates with whom you communicate and who will allow you to share their contact information with the Reunion Committee.
Our 1972 Reunion event is planned for
Friday, June 30, 2017, 7:00 pm- 12:00 am.
JD Lewis Multipurpose Center
2245 Garner Rd, Raleigh, NC, 27610.
Please join us in WORSHIP and fellowship on Sunday, July 2, 2017, at Freedom Temple Church, 615 Royal Street, Raleigh, NC 27607 where our classmate, Bishop Gerald Sylver is the Pastor.
Reunion Prices are:
$25.00 for single classmates, in advance.
$30.00 per couple (classmate & guest), in advance.
$35.00 per person at the door for non-members and for classmates who do not pay in advance
Reunion donations are non-refundable and are due on or before June 22, 2017
Reunion prices will cover catering services, decorations, music, gift and favors and printing expenses.

Should you desire to contribute above and beyond the reunion event price, the 1972 Reunion Committee welcomes any and all monetary donations. We thank you in advance, for your generosity. This is a casual dress and BYOB event. Set ups/mixers will be provided.

In addition to our plans for a fun-filled night, The John W. Ligon Junior- Senior Alumni Association Reunion will come together to celebrate Ligon’s legacy with a roll call of classes from 1954-1972.
