At GGL our goal is dedicated to helping a student learn the guitar and understand music, not to just push them along and give them false applause. We are not an after school nursery or looking to just make money, our motto has always been "It's not the income it's the outcome"...so if you feel like business fronts and Mom & Pop places are for you then by all means go spend your hard earned money there...we are not like that and always go above and beyond for each individual, every student matters!

On March 16th, 2017 a very eager and ambitious young man started guitar lessons. At the age of 13, Kailer right away displayed ambition and commitment to becoming a guitarist. His efforts paid off quickly by completing each assignment promptly. His practice regiment was relentless and was displayed in his fluent performance each week as he demonstrated great technique and feel. I believe he is on a great path in becoming a proficient musician and a flawless guitar player.

Over the years I believe the term "Guitar Teacher" has lost some value over time. Teaching a beginner how to play a song doesn't make you a guitar teacher, it makes you a "Song Teacher" and that's something that we did in our bedrooms as kids. If you want a bedroom teacher than great have fun but if you are serious about truly learning the guitar then see a professional, my door is always open!

How some people can self qualify as to be a guitar teacher is beyond me...just because you know music theory doesn't make you a guitar teacher...this instrument is the hardest in the world to learn, leave it to the professionals... :)
