Versatile performer, recording artist and teacher in private lessons for over 25 years, Bob Grant brings his passion for sharing the joy of music everywhere he brings his instrument. A musical journeyman from the Boston area and a resident for the past six years in Raleigh, NC, Bob's unique, eclectic playing style and tailored-to-your-needs teaching approach have been delightin
g audiences and students in the Northeast and abroad. Bob has studied with Berklee graduate Paul DiBartolo (Spread Eagle/MCA Records), now known as Salvadore Poe and guitar extraordinaire Gary Hoey (W***o Music Group) as well as Berklee Professor's Jon Finn and Joe Stump. This also lead to taking The Summer Performance Program offered by Berklee College of Music and was entitled a Certificate of Completion on August 8th, 2003. While in Boston he was accepted as one of the top 50 guitar players selected to play in the Daddy's J***y Music 1st and 2nd annual Guitar Competitions. Influenced by Eddie Van Halen, Jimmy Page, Tony Iommi, Jeff Beck, Jimi Hendrix and Robert Johnson to name a few, his journey in music began.
