Hoon Private Tutoring offers both private and group tutoring sessions to students who need help in the following courses: Calculus I (MA 141), Calculus II (MA 241), Applied Differential Equations I (MA 341), Chemistry 101, Chemistry 201, Physics (PY 205), and Engineering Statics (MAE 206). Tutoring may include homework help, exam preparation, and especially prep for finals.

2. When is tutoring an

d do I need to make an appointment? Unlike most tutoring programs, Hoon Private Tutoring offers tutoring 24/7, although it is appreciated and strongly recommended to arrange tutoring appointments in advance. The earlier, the better. Because the tutor Patrick Hoon is a college student who also has homework and plans, last-minute appointments are not guaranteed, though Patrick will do his honest best to be flexible and make time to help tutor.

3. How much does tutoring cost? Rates vary from person to person and from situation to situation since everyone has different financial situations. Hoon Private Tutoring is very flexible and negotiable about rates, so please contact Patrick Hoon for more information to determine your rates. After all, the primary objective of Hoon Tutoring Service is to help students learn and fully understand their subject material.

- Important note about rates: since Hoon Private Tutoring is a 24/7 business, late night sessions (Midnight-7am) will cost more since Patrick Hoon is still a student who, like any other student, needs to do homework, study, and most importantly sleep. It is greatly appreciated if you bring sugary candy (ex. sour path kids) to tutoring sessions (Patrick loves candy).

4. Where are tutoring sessions held? Contact Patrick Hoon to determine where you would like to have your tutoring session. Tutoring sessions may be held anywhere from Patrick Hoon's room to your room to a dorm lounge to the library and etc.

If you text message, please state your name and what you need help with and we'll go from there. It is preferred that you contact Patrick Hoon via Facebook message or this page's wall. Patrick is always on Facebook whenever he can. Group sessions will be formed if several or more students need help for the same class and request a tutoring session to be held at the same time. Beginning May 19th, Patrick Hoon will be be unavailable for an indefinite period of time due to an internship at Oak Ridge National Laboratory in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. Hope everyone has a wonderful summer!
