Our native Stoke’s aster (Stokesia laevis) has finished blooming, but this photo from last June reminds us that pollinators, like these bees, need a continuous supply of pollen and nectar. Use the search box on the Plant Toolbox to find plants with “long bloom season” or flowers of a season (e.g., “late summer flowers”).
