We give because we want to help provide additional teaching positions to keep classroom sizes small, so our children can receive the individualized attention they need. Resources provided through The Lacy Foundation have helped both of our children overcome reading challenges to reach their true potential. The Lacy Foundation also enriches their education by providing opportunities beyond standard academics, such as learning Spanish. We give because of the thoughtful consideration of how the funds are used to both support and enrich children’s education across the academic spectrum. - Meagan & Tyler Knowles

As proud public school graduates from two very different parts of the country, we give to Lacy because we’ve seen firsthand how investing in public schools can make incredible things happen for kids and families across generations. And as a family headed by two men, with twin girls via adoption, we also want to ensure that Lacy remains an inclusive, welcoming, and supportive environment for all types of families.
