This Peter Rabbit unit study is targets skills for preschool through first grade.

It contains everything you need to have a fun learning experience with no planning for parents.
This unit study includes an age level retelling of the story of Peter Rabbit with comprehension questions to review after reading. One set is focused toward simpler recall questions, while another set targets higher level questions and answers for older range children and for deeper and analytical thinking.
There are also sequencing picture cards that coincide with the story to allow your child practice in sequencing and retelling the story in their own words, a very valuable skill in language arts and thinking.
Other worksheets range from simpler activities to more complex, depending on the age of your children and their skill levels, so that this unit study can be used a number of your children at the same time and presents a unit study to be used together as a family.
These worksheets range from practicing identifying the letter “R” for rabbit and tracing and writing this letter to a worksheet to practice writing a friendly letter to Farmer McGregor from Peter Rabbit.
There are pictures to print and cut out to use as finger or stick puppets to have fun retelling the story or creating and retelling your own version.
This Peter Rabbit unit study also include science and nature activities from growing plants from seeds like Farmer McGregor to learning about Rabbit facts with recalling fact questions and fact flash cards to learn about rabbits at an appropriate age level.
For practice in following directions and measuring, there are a number of fun easy to follow recipes that correspond to the Peter Rabbit and rabbit theme that you will want to create and enjoy!
For math practice in your rabbit unit study, there are worksheets for various age range and skill levels as well – from practicing number identification and tracing numbers and counting to simple addition and subtraction, all with a bunny theme.
There are a couple of thinking skill worksheets that include patterns and filling in the missing item.
And finally, to keep even the youngest of your littles occupied and learning, there are a number of tracing/cutting worksheets all with their own rabbit theme to fine tune those motor skills.

This unit study about George Washington has opportunity to review what has been learned and write about it a brainstorming organizer sheet, six different writing sheets to choose from with different designs and sized lines for practicing those writing skills, and a word search of important words.
