About US
Wanda's "Little Hands" was established in 1996 by Willie and Wanda McCargo. It started with a small vision from the Lord, and has since then expanded. Even though we have grown in size, the small ratio atmosphere has remained and made the growth easier by being able to offer a safe, diverse, loving, and nurturing environment. We are committed to helping each individual child develop a basic love for learning, and the social skills necessary to be a successful contributing member of society. The staff at WLHEC are uniquely selected and qualified in the field of Early Childhood experience, or related field; CPR/First Aid certified; and on-going training. We are also a "North Carolina Pre-K" program site, offered by Wake County Smart Start; and a Telamon Early Head Start Program Site. At Wanda's Little Hands we help each little hand grow and learn for tomorrow.
