Join us in celebrating National Library Week through the lens of the AACC Library! 📚 🎓April 6-10 will be a week-long celebration that centers libraries as spaces of opportunity. All events are open to everyone so spread the word and bring a friend!
Each event will have a drawing for 2 Patron prizes kits containing limited-edition AACC Library swag, a free book, library starter materials, and more!🎁💝📕
Built upon the principles of Ubuntu (“I am because we are”) and Sankofa (“It is not taboo to fetch what is at risk of being left behind”), the week of events will uplift ways to utilize the knowledge to be found within specialized collections and the representation of African American authors, special collections, and archives. 📚
The rich community, support, and resources of NC State University and our neighboring library collections will also be demonstrated. This signature programming will support student wellbeing—culturally, emotionally, intellectually, and holistically—as you move through and beyond NC State university!🌍✨
