I was working as a cashier at Home Depot in Watchung, NJ. At the time I was a single parent of my beautiful sons, Zykir and Zyaire. I was working 45 hours a week, still was not earning enough to take care of them, and was desperate to generate additional
income. So I did what everyone else did and got a part-time job, only to find that all that part-time income was going to aftercare and before care costs. I literally felt like I was paying someone to put my kids to bed. I never saw my children and I became determined to find a different way. I came across my first business. I did everything they told me not to do but still managed to earn almost $500. It just was not a good match. It was not until 2 whole years later, I came across Ameriplan. I learned about the amazing services we offered, felt great about them, got started, and in my first 11 days, I earned $657 and some change. I was earning about that but it would take me more than 40 hours and I did this with Ameriplan working only 15 hours. I got very excited and achieved National Sales Director, Superstar Consultant. I have not worked for anyone for the past 11 years. Simultaneously I started Daycare and became the Author of “Markitas Lost Diary, Healthy is Sexy, and 10 Social Media Secrets That’ll Get You Paid.” I was able to work, earn the income to keep the bills paid and still be a full-time mother. The most rewarding thing for me is now that my sons are young adults, I have never had to choose between being at their games, after-school endeavors, or anything because when you control your income, you control your time. Now I am dedicated to teaching others how they can create a career and lifestyle working from home. We help bosses find the confidence to start their businesses using Social Media as Leverage.
