Egg in Nest is a unique Art Studio offering Art Classes for children and adults in the Southwest Raleigh, Cary and Apex area. Each student works independently on art projects of their choice! We offer after-school, home-school and track-out art class times and evening hours for teens and adults. Painting, drawing and portfolio prep classes are held weekly during the school year and Art Camps are

Egg in Nest Art Show – A Triple Hitter!

Artwork from Egg in Nest is currently on display at the Halle Cultural Arts Center in Apex as a part of the "Skipping Stones and Wishing Wells" show. This show has been a year in the making, with most of the artwork by the students being started or completed before COVID took the world by storm last March.

The theme of the show is to create a work of art that incorporates a teacup, flowers, mountains, birds and trees. Students displayed a keen sense of creativity in blending these elements into an original work of art. By using a range of techniques, students created dreamlike juxtapositions of the required elements – surrealism at it’s finest!

You will also see that many students' artwork has a theme of its own! Come with a thoughtful eye to observe expressions of personal penchants and creative inclinations; students were given full freedom to create a universe of their own accord. With spring and inspiration in full bloom, all three exhibitions are a celebration of life and imagination!

The show will run until May 14th, and there will be a FREE RECEPTION on Friday, April 30th from
6-8 PM.
