We are a drop off hourly play care facility. Nana's opened in January 2011. All workers are First Aid/CPR certified. They all have had a background check done and a personal interview. On your first visit with us, we require a completed registration form for each child. You will not need to fill out any more forms, unless you're contact information has changed. We ask for details about any allergi
es, medical conditions or issues, and dietary restrictions. We also require an emergency contact phone number and the names of the individuals that are also authorized to pick up your child. Photo ID is required upon pick up. We will also ask if your child will like a meal plan (If staying through the meal times.) If your child's stay overlaps with mealtime, you have the option of packing food for your child or purchasing a meal on-site. We do have a peanut-free policy. You do not have to purchase one if your child is staying for a short period of time or has already eaten. They will be offered a snack if not eating a meal. Otherwise if the stay is prolonged we will charge a meal to your balance for pickup if you do not order a meal plan for your child. There is a no shoe policy in the play area, but socks MUST be worn. We have a cubby in the entrance where you can hang up your child's coat and put their shoes away. If you have extra clothing for them we will lock them up in a room only we have access to. You must fill out a release form for the jumpy house. Movies are controlled only by the staff. Nana's employees are unable to administer any medication with the exception of the following, to be used in life-threatening emergencies: such as EpiPens, inhalers, and insulin. Please let staff know of any medication your child may be on. Nana's has a strict policy NOT to accept children who are ill. Reasonable precautions are taken to safeguard children against illness. Your cooperation is required, so please do not ask us to care for your children when they are sick. Please do not bring in your child if they have a cold, sore throat, rash, cough, diarrhea or pink eye. Do not bring in a child who has had a fever or has vomited in the past 24 hours. If a child becomes sick during the course of their stay with us the parents will be contacted immediately at the emergency phone number provided. Parents will be expected to pick up the sick child in a prompt manner. Nana's staff has first aid training and will administer as necessary to minor cuts and bruises. In the event of a medical emergency, 911 will be notified and the parent and or emergency contact will also be notified.
