Played in a jazz trio for a church service last Sunday. Was a treat to play with good friends and good musicians... and the congregation actually dug it...

Saw an outrageously good band last night at the Pour House. Snarky Puppy... Funk, fusion, jazz, and anything else you can think of played incredibly well. Thanks to Max for telling me about it!!

My college percussion teacher, Thomas L. Davis, passed away this weekend. It is hard to believe that he is gone. Although it has been decades since I studied with him, I still use what he taught me today.
