Last week’s Book Fair was a huge success. We sold over $8,000 worth of merchandise, gave free books to over 100 students, and had 2,754 student visits to the library for last week’s book fair. We also provided $1,000 worth of books to our school social worker, Ms. Pellas, for students in need and added roughly $3,000 of books to the library’s collection. Special thanks to Ligon PTA parent Mrs. Zimmerman for spearheading the event, Ligon librarian Ms. Jensen for her efforts in making it a success, and to our volunteers and donors for their support!
