Hands on learning at its best! The students enjoyed getting to hold & learn about Blueberry our Blue Tongue Skink. Also, the guinea pigs & ferret. 💛💙💛💙

Before the Lee County Fair starts each year, our FFA goes out to help loop the to***co and fill the barn to have it ready for the start of the fair. So many good memories are made and lots of stories from “back in the day” and the kids get to learn a skill not many have today.💙💛

At the beginning of the year, the students had a great time making their own FFA Emblem that they were able to eat after! 💛💙

Area 3 Envirothon

So thankfully to Patrick and The Pint Sized Pasture for coming out today and bringing some animals so our students could get some real life, hands-on learning outside of the classroom!
They had so much fun!!

Great day at the Livestock Judging Clinic at NC State. And of course our trip wouldn’t be complete without a stop to get some Howling Cow Ice Cream.

Great FFA Day at the NC State Fair! So much agriculture & NC history and of course great food. We were able to see our FFA State officers, so many different Chapters from around the state and listen to Steve Troxler speak. Beautiful weather, also! Couldn’t have asked for a better day learning about NC Ag.

This week, our Sustainable Ag class got a chance to help take soil samples of our baseball field and football field to send off for analysis. Love seeing them put what they learn in the classroom to work!
