During this past year, 136 students took their education further through our Developing Cultural Competence (DCC) program.

In just four weeks, these students moved from exploring their own identities to solving real-world challenges with peers from around the globe.

Special shoutout to our first-ever Cultural Exchange Facilitator! 👏 As a double major in political science and international studies, Kayla is proof that at NC State, one high-impact experience can lead to a career-ready future.

Today, we’re celebrating our 2024–25 Developing Cultural Competence (DCC) participants by spotlighting the incredible wildlife from their home regions. From the resilient Scarlet Macaw to the iconic Giant Panda, these species represent the diverse landscapes our students call home.

The Super Bowl is tomorrow! 🏈 We’ve highlighted top places to watch across the Triangle, along with options for tuning in at home. Keep an eye out, several NC State Football alumni will be playing in the big game. 🐺❤️

It’s ! 🎓 The UN’s theme this year is The Power of Youth in Co-Creating Education.

At GTI, we turn this into action through global skills training and cultural exchange programs. We are proud to foster understanding and innovation across borders. 🌏
