"Dad Jokes Seeking Academic Analysis: Dream Daddy Playthrough and Critical Discussion"

September 19th, 5:30-7:30 PM, Circuit Studio

Dream Daddy: A Dad Dating Simulator is a visual novel video game that asks players to take on the role of a single father looking to date other dads. This game is notable for its popularity and inclusive and heartwarming depiction of love and romance. This event allows students from across campus to come to Circuit Studio and take a turn watching and/or playing this game (multiple copies will be provided). Before the playthrough begins, Sarah Evans (CRDM PhD candidate) will orient the participants to the issues this game addresses so that we may have a critical discussion of this piece of media after playtime ends.
