The first week of school is almost in the books!

🎉 Congratulations to our raffle winner, Sheba Churchill! 🎉

It was wonderful seeing so many new faces joining the Wakefield community and so many familiar, returning faces yesterday!! 💙🐺 We loved getting to connect with everyone and kick off another great school year together.

We’re already about 1/3 of the way to our PTSA membership goal of 300 members- but we still need YOU to help us get there!

Welcome Back, Wakefield! 💙🐺

Wakefield Middle School PTSA was happy to host breakfast for our teachers and staff as they came together for their Back-to-School meeting and prepared for the year ahead!

A HUGE thank you to Dunkin’ on New Falls for helping us make the morning special by donating coffee (with all the fixings) and delicious donuts, as well as providing a generous discount 🍩 We truly appreciate their support of WMS and their heart for our school community! 🧡🩷

After breakfast and their meeting, staff also had a chance for a little team bonding with tie-dye before getting back to work preparing for our students.

We’re grateful for everything our teachers and staff do and hope they felt appreciated and welcomed back! 💙🐺

So many WMS families supported the 8th grade End of Year events with donations of chips, candy, water, and prizes. Please accept the PTSA’s heartfelt thanks. On Monday at the Pizza Lunch/Talent Show, we are going to be giving out a LOT of door prizes to the 8th grade students-- 12 gift baskets, 15 gift cards to local dining establishments, and 8 giant bags of candy. WOW! We will post photos of the event next week.

Also, a HUGE thanks to our corporate and business sponsors this year! Having community support really helps us provide great events for our students

8th Grade Parents: Make sure you sign the permission slip for the dance - it’s due Thursday!

My child may attend the 8th grade WMS dance on Friday, May 29th from 6:00-8:00pm.
