Our Grade 6 students planned, budgeted and led a very special trip to Seattle this year.
They explored culture, science, and innovation in one of the country’s most dynamic cities.
These trips are powerful examples of how travel and experiential learning can strengthen both academic understanding and personal growth.

Our Upper Elementary students visited the Agape Center, where they not only engaged in meaningful service but also explored the ecosystems of the Piedmont region and learned practical survival skills.
It was a rich experience that combined environmental learning with community connection, encouraging both curiosity and responsibility.

Last week, we hosted our big, campus-wide International Day celebration!
These pictures are from one of our Children’s House classes, where seven amazing families helped the class celebrate by sharing recipes and teaching a little bit about their home culture.
We tasted delicious treats from India, Canada, Ireland, Iran, Italy, France and Turkey. Parents taught us about Chinese New Year and the Iranian holiday of Nowruz and our Kindergarteners helped make flags to represent the dishes we ate.
It was a wonderful day of exploring cultures with our eyes, ears, and taste buds while also celebrating the diversity across our school.
