As this school year comes to an end, so does a very special chapter of my life. A bittersweet time to say “See you later” to the school I called home for many years. This was not only my 5th school year as an international teacher, but also the final year with the same group of students I first met back in 2022. Watching them grow has been one of the greatest blessings and privileges of my career.
This year came with many highs and lows, and without a doubt, it has been one of the most stressful years of my professional career with all the upcoming changes. But even through the challenges, there were countless moments of joy, growth, laughter, and support that reminded me why I chose this profession in the first place.
To my students: thank you for your laughter, your energy, your growth, and for allowing me to be part of your journey. You will always hold a special place in my heart.
To the parents: thank you for your trust, support, kindness, and partnership throughout these years. Your encouragement meant more than you know.
To my teammates and administration: thank you for believing in me, supporting me, and helping create an environment where I could grow both personally and professionally, trusting me more leadership roles. I am deeply grateful for every lesson, every challenge, and every memory we shared together.
And most importantly, to my wife and daughter: thank you for being my safe place through every difficult moment, every long day, and every stressful season. Your love, motivation, patience, encouragement, and sacrifices carried me more than you will ever know. Everything I do is for our family, and having you by my side has made every challenge worth it.
Being part of the Polenta community has changed my life. No matter where life takes me next, a piece of my heart will always stay here.
Once a Puma, always a Puma. 💛💜🐾
