We’re sad to share the news that Dr. Chuck Korte, founder of Encore (which became OLLI at NC State in 2014) passed away on January 12.

In the coming weeks, we will share a special remembrance of Chuck, but, today, we just hold space in our hearts for Chuck, his family and friends. His positive view of the possibilities of aging and all of our potential for learning, growing and contributing through the entirety of our lifetimes made all of our lives better.
