The Women’s Center will be closed December 24-January 2 for winter break. Staff will be working remotely on January 2nd and we’ll be back in-person and ready to welcome everyone in the center on January 5th.

Embedded Counselor-Emphasis in Interpersonal Violence Concerns 11/26/2025

The NC State Counseling Center and the NC State Women's Center are currently hiring for an embedded counselor with a focus on Interpersonal Violence concerns. This position reports directly to the Counseling Center, but will serve up to 2 days per week embedded within the Women's Center. The successful candidate will provide professional individual and group counseling services and outreach to NC State students, co-chair the IPV Treatment Team within the Counseling Center, and offer training and consultation to University administrators, staff and others who have concerns about the mental/emotional status of NC State students.

Today, we opened the Silent Witness visualization gallery in honor of those who lost their lives to domestic violence in NC. The exhibit is open 10am-5pm through Wednesday at the Cyma Rubin Visualization Gallery on the third floor of DH Hill Library. Stop by to show support.
