Virginia went blue and here is why that matters:
- Gun safety legislation
- Become the 38th state to ratify the Equal Rights Amendment, extend anti-discrimination protections on housing and public employment to LGBTQ people
- Increase in teacher pay and public school funding,
- Join Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative
- A Virginia version of the Green New Deal
We will send out our recap next week but we needed to first say thank you. Thank you to all of the coalition partners and their supporters, thank you to all of the voters, thank you to all of the campaign volunteers, and a massive thank you to all of the candidates. We couldn’t have been able to contact over 60,000 voters without our team memebers, , , & our donors. 2020 starts now.
