Success isn't about getting everything right the first time.

That's a philosophy worth holding onto in IT, and it's one Marlon lives by. His words say it best: "Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts."

That kind of mindset is exactly what carries someone through a career change and into a new field. Congratulations on completing the Cyber Warrior Program, Marlon!!!

Happy Labor Day from all of us at MyComputerCareer.

Today is for the people who keep things running and for everyone working toward the career they actually want. Both take real effort. We see it every day in our students.

Rest up. You earned it.

Behind every organization that runs smoothly is a network that never stops, and someone who knows how to keep it moving.

That's where Sheldon comes in. He earned his CompTIA Network+ through our Cyber Warrior Program, and now he's got the know-how to manage infrastructure, chase down connectivity issues, and keep everything talking.

✅ CompTIA Network+ N10-009

It's a foundational, in-demand skill set and a strong first step into networking. Congratulations, Sheldon. 👏

If you've been watching The IT Blitz, you already know lead instructor Jim Atria. If you haven't, this is your introduction. With nearly 50 episodes in the can and recent features in The AI Journal, eCampus News, and CBS 17's Job Alert, Jim has been one of the loudest voices in the room on what's really happening in IT right now.

This week on Get Into IT Live, we're sitting down with Jim to dig into the stories and themes he's been tracking on The IT Blitz, from tariff-driven PC pricing chaos to the skills debate reshaping IT careers. We'll discuss:

- Why leaning too hard on AI tools could be holding IT professionals back
- What "friction maxxing" is and why it's showing up in IT skill development conversations
- The Rampacolypse: what tariff-driven pricing is doing to the PC market
- Why companies that replaced workers with automation keep hiring those workers back
- His take on Microsoft, vibe coding, and the real state of entry-level IT in 2026

In today’s Blitz, Jim teaches us how to be a human! We think. Ubisoft makes the most Ubisoft mistake, vibe coding isn't the vibe, and Jim gets to yell about the rampocalypse again!

MyComputerCareer's Senior Live Online Lead Instructor, Jim Atria, breaks down four tech stories that actually matter! Tune in every Thursday.

For the first two weeks, Micah Hawthorne stayed after every class. 💻

He didn't come from an IT background, and in the Cyber Warrior Program, that meant playing catch-up. So every day, he talked with his instructors for an hour after class. He studied whenever he wasn't doing something else. He took notes on everything.

And then, around day 14, it started to click.

Micah came to MyComputerCareer through the DoD SkillBridge program after years in the military as a fueler and hazmat truck driver. He'd hit the ceiling of what that role could offer, and he was ready for something more. The Cyber Warrior Program's reputation drew him in, but it was how much the team cared that made him stay.

Four certifications later (A+, Net+, Security+, and CySA+), he landed a career in IT at Dell Technologies. When it came time to write his resume, his Career Services advisor turned it into the best one he'd ever had.

His biggest piece of advice: "If you don't give up, you never fail. If you give up, that's the only time you actually fail."

Watch Micah's story. 👇
