When the disciples asked how to pray, Jesus didn't give them a technique. He gave them a relationship. The first word is "Our." The second is "Father." Everything in Christian prayer flows from those two words.

Jesus said go to your inner room and shut the door. Not because God needs the update... He doesn't. Prayer doesn't inform God; it forms us. We pray to align our hearts with His, to learn to want what He wants, to remember who we are in front of the One who made us. The closed door isn't to keep God in. It's to keep the noise out.

Not pray that they change. Not pray that they leave. Pray FOR them. It's one of the hardest lines in the Gospel and the one that makes Christianity unmistakable

Probably, anyway. For most of Christian history, children were named for saints on purpose - a patron to imitate and to pray to. Who's yours?

Jesus saw the crowds, troubled, abandoned, like sheep without a shepherd, and was moved with pity. Then He didn't fix it Himself. He sent the Twelve. Two thousand years later, He's still sending. The only question is whether we'll go.

Summer Lab campers worked all week designing and building their bridges. Yesterday, 6 groups competed for the most points based on how light their bridges and how much weight they held. Bridges ranged from just over 10g to about 40g in weight and one held almost 25lbs!

After learning critical thinking and problem solving techniques playing many board games, they put the skills to the test in two escape rooms. Campers managed to escape both rooms and had a lot of fun working together!

🏀 Our Basketball Campers had an incredible start to the summer! Throughout the week, they sharpened their skills, competed in scrimmages, took on fun challenges, and made great memories with friends. Be sure to check out the awesome camp tees in our group photos! 😃

Summer at the Lab gave students the chance to dive into the world of competitive science through hands-on exploration of diverse scientific fields. From solving mysteries and testing their engineering skills to learning about encryption, geology, and more, every day brought new challenges and discoveries!

In the afternoons, students unplugged from their screens and focused on strategy, logic, and teamwork as they mastered complex board games and strengthened their critical-thinking and problem-solving skills.
