While many see a service desk as a simple counter, the data tells a different story. It is a high-volume logistics hub that processes mail, keys and inquiries. As of the Last Day of Classes (LDOC) for the 2025-26 academic year, University Housing teams have processed a staggering 160,256 packages. Read more about their impact:

Throughout the month of April Talley Student Union was transformed into a space for advocacy and artistic expression with the installation of "Wear the Message. Build the Wings." This interactive art installation is a collaborative effort between the Arts Village, the Wilson College of Textiles and the NC State Women’s Center to honor Denim Day and Sexual Assault Awareness month.

When you move out of your residence hall at the end of the semester, remember to complete the checkout process and turn in your keys! 🔑

Keys not returned at the time of checkout cannot be mailed to campus and a lost key charge will be implemented. To make sure you are covering all the bases as you plan to leave campus for the summer visit go.ncsu.edu/moveout and read through the Spring 2026 Closing Checklist.

Definitely remember to either donate or take them home!

Reminder, bikes/scooters cannot be stored on campus over the summer.
Take them home or put them in a Pack Rat for donation!
Starting May 13, devices on bike racks will be tagged.
If staying on campus this summer, remove the tag.
Tagged devices will be impounded beginning May 26.
