We are so thankful that you have entrusted your children to us for the purpose of teaching them and helping them develop skills they will need as they prepare for elementary school, but more importantly, doing it in a decidedly Christian environment that points them to know, love, and follow Jesus. We recognize what a great trust that is and we don’t take it lightly.
For those who don’t know the history of our program, it began over 20 years ago as a MMO – Mother’s Morning Out. It was a 2-day-per-week chance for a 2 ½ hour break for moms to run errands, go to appointments, or just rest at home while TCK staff loved on their kids. Over time, the program grew and expanded to what it is now – a 4-day-per-week Christian preschool. We are thankful for the opportunities we have had over these 20 years to invest in families and children in these ways.
As we look ahead as a church, including the ministries we believe God is calling us to pursue, 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟮-𝟮𝟯 𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗯𝗲 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗧𝗖𝗞 𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗸𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺.
We want to express our appreciation to Mrs. Louann and Miss Holly for their committed leadership, and for our teachers who pour into your children in the classroom every day in so many different ways. It has been their faithful labor of love that has made this program what it has been.
Finally, I want to invite all of you who do not have a church family to further connect with our larger ministry at Wake Cross Roads, including on Sundays for Sunday school (all ages) at 9:45am, our worship service at 11am, and our WCR Kids Music time at 6:30pm. We also have our mid-week activities for all ages on Wednesday nights at 6:30pm.
Once again, thank you so much for trusting us to love and invest in your children. We are praying for God’s best for your children and your families as you take the next steps in the days ahead.
