Today, our Vocal Ensemble section leaders and student conductor passed the torch to next year's music leadership team!

Not only am I proud of the work these leaders have put in this year, I love how excited they are for their fellow singers! 💙💛

I promised no more tears after the concert, but this was super sweet. 🥹

Our Ligon singers & families SHOWED UP for our personal care/household item drive for the Ligon Food Ark. Ensembles competed over the last month to collect some of the most needed non-food items for our school community.

Our wonderful school social worker, Mrs. Pellas taught a mini-lesson on why families may have the need for such basic items and reminded students how they can make use of the Food Ark for themselves, friends and family if a need arises.

Today, Vocal Ensemble delivered all 1,200+ items to our very own Ligon "grocery store" and see how the Food Ark works in action with Mrs. Pellas.

As we head into the summer months, access to everyday essentials can become more challenging for some of our students. These contributions will help ensure that members of our school community feel supported, cared for, and prepared during this time.

We are so grateful for your kindness and partnership in making a difference. Together, we are using our voices not only to perform, but to serve each other.
