97th NC FFA State Convention Highlights!

-The Agriculture Communications team of Megan Stevens, Cole Heidinger, Alex Potts, and Bella Karst placed 3rd in the State!🗣️🥉

-The team of Cody Marek, Santos Marin, Caraline Lusk, and Breonna Bullock competed in the Milk Quality & Products Career Development Event!🥛🐄

-The team of Irelyn Tange, Sophia Kincer, J’Kyahi Pineda, and Areeba Waqar competed in the Food Science & Technology Career Development Event! Irelyn was the highest scoring individual on the team, placing 13th overall! 🍽️🧪

-Graeme Hail presented an Agriscience Fair Project to a panel of judges and placed 4th in Environmental Natural Resources Division 5! 🐝📊

-Irelyn Tange was recognized as the receipt of the Old North State FFA Degree!🌟

-Cole Heidinger was recognized for receiving a 1st place Proficiency Award in the Diversified Crop Production SAE!🥇

We are so proud of these hard working students and their dedication to the learning, growing, and leading through the FFA! 🥳

Last week, Wakefield FFA Officers and members attended the Wake Federation FFA Banquet! Students were presented with our banner, recounting the chapters accomplishments from the year!

Our Federation Officer, Irelyn Tange delivered remarks on behalf of Wakefield FFA and presented awards to chapters across the federation. After a year of leadership for the federation, Irelyn retired from her position and installed a new team of Federation Officers. It was a beautiful night of bitter-sweet celebration shared with chapters across Wake County!
