The Mu Xi Chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated NEEDS YOUR HELP! To kick off our Finer Womanhood Week, we are hosting a book drive to help stock the Cape Coast Slave Castle Z-HOPE Children’s Library located in Cape Coast, Ghana. Our goal is to collect at least 100 books! There are two main ways you can help:

1) Donate books: children’s books, school books from all grades (20 of the same), dictionaries and/or encyclopedias
a. (all books must be less than 7 years old)
b. Books should include and reflect contributions people of color have made to make the world better place
c. Books must be in great condition with no torn or missing pages, stains or drawings on the cover or pages.

2) Donate money: that will go towards purchasing books and paying for shipping costs (Cashapp: $MuXiChapter)

This book drive will run from Monday, March 21st to Friday, March 25th. On Friday, we will host a community service event where we will package the collected books to be sent to Ghana. Collection boxes will be located in campus dorms and near the dropboxes at NC State’s libraries.
