Tonight we celebrated our amazing Instructional Assistant of the Year, Angela Andrews, at the WCPSS banquet.

Please help us congratulate the amazing Angela Andrews who has been named our Instructional Assistant of the Year! Ms. Angela has been working in our preschool program for 12 years, is amazing with all students preK-5th grade, has incredible school spirit, style for days and a heart of gold!

We are so excited to announce that our staff has voted and picked our 2024-2025 Teacher of the Year. Congratulations to the amazing Mrs. Jessica Gleason. 💙💛

Jessica Gleason has dedicated the past 8 years to Lacy Elementary as a first grade and kindergarten teacher. With 28 years of classroom experience, she has taught every grade from kindergarten to fifth and served as a reading intervention teacher. Mrs. Gleason also plays a vital role as Lacy's mentor coordinator and is a lead on the First Aid Response Team, exemplifying her commitment to both her students and colleagues.
