We are excited to welcome Mills Eaddy as a full-time 4th grade teacher to support our students in small groups and to support our teachers for the rest of the year! She comes to us with a Master of Arts in Teaching from NC State University. We are beyond grateful that she decided to become a Lacy Lion!

Attention parents!!!!! We are in need of 60 letter size file totes to support some students who need home organizational help. If you are willing to donate please buy one, or as many as you can, and drop off on the front porch at Lacy by Wednesday morning. Thank you in advance for your kindness and generosity. 💙😊

What a wonderful day seeing our Lacy students as we distributed materials to over 650 students! What a great way to end our first week back to school.

What a crazy school year it has been. Today we celebrated the end of our 5th graders time in elementary school with a parade. So many smiles, tears and cheers. Now go out and do great things but remember once a Lacy Lion always a Lacy Lion!!! 💙🎉🦁

Come through the carpool loop with your students name written on a piece of paper. A staff member will bring out your students belongings. We are here all week 9:00-12:00 and 1:00-4:00.
Families can pick up for friends and neighbors.

The Lacy Lion enjoyed a much needed beach getaway with Mrs. Crane for Memorial Day weekend. While out enjoying the beautiful weather he saw some little Lacy Lions and was so excited to get to spend some time with them.

Today the Lacy staff and the Lacy Lion helped Mrs. Jessica Duncan celebrate her soon to be baby boy with a drive by baby shower parade. 💙🎉🦁

Lacy Kindergarten students are learning all about weather through remote learning with some cool hands on activities. Making a rainbow is sure to put a smile on anyone’s face!

Look who stopped by Mrs. Miller’s house today to visit with Lacy Lion!! Clever Cat from Letterland heard that Lacy Lion was looking to eat cupcakes and cookies while having a conversation with her “cat family” friend.

On her way to thank our amazing hospital workers, you won’t believe it, our incredible principal, Sherri Miller, finally found our beloved Lacy Lion. Thank you to all our amazing healthcare workers!

He was so excited to find his Lacy Lions, but sorry, park’s closed. It seems “impaws-sible” for him to find his friends. I am sure he will need a vacation after all of this.

Today’s staff meeting. It’s not the same but so wonderful to connect with each other. We also got to celebrate that 90% of our students engaged in remote learning last week!!! 💙🦁

The Lacy Lion would give anything in the “world” to have our students back in the building. He misses them so much.
