Reminder for Fall 2026 students 📚 Tuition payment deadlines are based on when you register, so be sure to review the dates carefully to avoid your classes being dropped.

📅 Registered by July 29 → Payment due July 29
📅 Registered July 30–August 19 → Payment due the same day you register

Payments can be made through Self-Service or at the Cashier’s Office.

Looking for a way to earn money while gaining real work experience? 💼 Federal Work Study (FWS) offers part-time job opportunities for eligible students right here on campus!

To apply, students must:
✔️ Complete the FAFSA®
✔️ Be enrolled in an eligible degree program
✔️ Take at least 6 credit hours
✔️ Maintain a 2.0 GPA and meet SAP requirements
✔️ Submit the Work-Study Interest Form before the deadline

FWS positions can help you build your resume, gain hands-on experience, and develop professional skills while in school. 💚

Summer refund dates are here! 💸 Students with a credit balance may receive refunds on June 17 or July 13, depending on when aid is applied and attendance is verified. Be sure your BankMobile preference is set up and your address is up to date.

🚨 Scholarship Opportunity Alert! 🎓

The CRO Community Foundation Scholarship Program is now accepting applications for multiple scholarship opportunities ranging from $1,000 to $3,500 for eligible students. Applicants must have a minimum 2.9 GPA and live in Eastern Wake County communities including Knightdale, Wendell, Zebulon, Rolesville, or Wake Forest. Applications are open through May 15, 2026.

If you register for Summer courses between May 7–20, payment will be due the same day you register. Be sure to stay on top of your balance to avoid being dropped from your classes.

Federal Work Study can be more than just a job 💼 It gives students the opportunity to earn money, gain experience, and build skills while balancing school.

Q: How do I know which classes are required for my degree or certificate? 💭

A: All students have access to their academic plan in Self-Service. Your academic plan shows the classes that are required to earn your certificate or degree, including how your previous coursework applies to requirements and the classes you still need to complete. Taking classes that do not apply to these requirements may result in your financial aid offer being reduced.

You will receive a message sent each term to your Wake Tech student email if you register for any course that falls outside of your academic requirements.
