Banks Road Elementary School Garden

We had the 2nd meeting of garden club this year this week! Students planted pansies in the planters at the of the school.

This week in the garden!

Thanks to the ServeNC group from Triangle Baptist for working in our garden for their mission project!

They painted our shed, built one of our flower beds, cleared out sooo many weeds, and got rid of the broken compost bin. It looks amazing and I am at a loss on how to say thank you for all of the hard work that took place this weekend.

As seen in the garden this week! We planted everything and installed some new “planters” near the shed.

A beginning of track out harvest and pollinators in action!

Veggies from this harvest were offered to several new to banks road teachers 🙂

Our last workday! We almost got rained out! 4th graders got to harvest and take home some veggies. I gifted the leftover veggies to 2 sherriff’s deputies who were in the parking lot when I left the garden.
