Please join us in welcoming Ms. Shaw, our newest second-grade teacher, to the Fuller staff! She’s originally from Jamaica, but also has experienced teaching in Qatar.

Did you know that our Fuller staff is just as beautifully diverse as our student population? Our educators represent Ecuador, Belize, Puerto Rico, Guyana, Peru, Trinidad and Tobago, Bosnia, Jamaica, Mexico, India and many other places around the world! 🌎

The Fuller staff has worked incredibly hard this week preparing for the first day of school and an amazing year for our Fuller Falcons!

We kicked off the week with professional development and encouraging words from our Area Superintendent, Mr. Seydric Williams, who helped set the direction for the year ahead. Throughout the week, our staff set up welcoming classrooms, planned and collaborated with colleagues, hosted Meet the Teacher and participated in School Improvement Plan meetings.

We ended the week with fellowship, a delicious staff lunch, and a sweet Kona Ice treat! We are grateful for our dedicated team and ready to welcome our Falcons back to school!

Tonight, we hosted our Meet the Teacher event and were thrilled to welcome our Fuller Falcons back for the 2026–2027 school year! As we prepare for the 2026–2027 school year, we’re asking families to use this final week to help make the transition back to school smooth and successful. Our 7-Day Family Countdown includes simple things you can do each day—from getting supplies organized and resetting bedtime routines to practicing the morning commute and building excitement for the first day.

One of the most important conversations you can have this week is about being READY TO LEARN. Talk with your child about what it looks and sounds like.

GOOD NEWS, FALCONS! FREE BREAKFAST FOR ALL STUDENTS!

We are excited to share that Fuller Magnet has been selected to participate in the Universal Breakfast (UB) Meal Program, funded by Wake County Government, for the 2026–2027 school year!

🥣 Breakfast will be provided at NO COST to ALL Fuller students!
Every Falcon can start the school day with breakfast, regardless of their meal eligibility status.

FAMILIES: PLEASE TAKE ACTION NOW!
Even though breakfast is free for everyone, Universal Breakfast is NOT the same as the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) program.

🍽️ Lunch is NOT automatically free. Students will continue to pay for lunch based on their individual meal eligibility.
