John Chappell is studying Mechanical Engineering and Michael Chappell is studying Cyber Security at UNCC. During there summer breaks from college, John works at Toyota as a technician and Michael is a programmer at Cii (a local App Development company). The robotic experience was so helpful in honing there skills and find what they enjoy.

LEGO: Legit Engineers Going Overboard Rube Goldberg Machine Competition at Wake Tech. 59 teams competed today. We came in 1st place winning $500. Congrats to John, Michael, Josias & Ty!

In case you thought we're still running, we're not. SuperCell 4147 had it's final season in the '12-'13 Season, "Ring it up!", and is now "retired". Thank you all for supporting us through this awesome season in our lives; now go change the world!

Just because the season is over doesn't mean SuperCell is shutting down for the summer. In fact, we are Stepping into some areas FTC hasn't gone before with Tetrix! Think you can figure it out?

Wow, the season is over! We ended up losing both semi-final matches. We hold our heads up high though, we accomplished our goal in getting to semi-finals for our division. Getting ready for the long trip back.

Crazy day today!!! First match today we lost, one of our lift motors shutdown. Our other side could pull the lift, but the string got tangled, so we couldn't score. We fixed the motor, and won our other two matches. we placed 22nd, which isn't as good as the first year we went. However, we got picked to be in the 4th seeded alliance!!! We will be at least in the semi-finals tomorrow! We can't hardly believe it. Getting some good rest tonight.

Update! Update! Hot of the press! We are currently 3 wins and 2 losses. It's been a tough day today. Lot's of defense, and high scoring opponents. We have a rematch from our first match that we had today, in the morning tomorrow. Then we have two other matches after that. Busy day tomorrow, but we are ready!

Stopped for the night at Chattanooooooga, Tennessee for the night! Gonna do a cave tour and a cool hike before we hit the road to Kentucky!
