Can you guess this book? 🤔 This iconic children’s book will be featured in our new 📚Once Upon An Artist🎨 class series! Starting next week(!), you and your 3-5 year-old artist can join us for a class that combines 📚stories + 🎨art, 📖literacy + 🫟creativity, 🤗playing + 🧠learning. Each week will be brought to you by a letter — next week (9/8 - 9/11) will kick us off right by being inspired by the letter… A! Specifically A for 🍏Apples, which goes with both our book of choice (🍎Ten Apples Up On Top, by Theo LeSieg aka Dr. Seuss) and with the approach of the fall season!🍂🍁

Happiest of Birthdays to our Executive Director Nicole!!🥳🎂 Nicole is such a talented, intelligent, resourceful, tenacious, compassionate teacher and person. Her work ethic and creativity have helped mold this studio into what it is today, and her kindness and care have helped develop so many young people over the years — as artists and as people. Nicole, you are a gift to the studio and to the lives of so many people, and we are all lucky to have one more year of you in our lives.🥰❤️

Looking for a creative outing for you and your toddler?🤔🎨 What about one that’s under $10 for an hour of fun and creativity?🙂‍↕️

🖍️Paint Paper Play is an “escort-your-artist” style class for artists ages 1-3 and their adults. We’ll have multiple stations where your artist can paint, color, draw, play, build, or just explore and make a mess (don’t worry — we handle the clean-up😉).

Each week will have a different theme, from dinosaurs to rainbows to farmers markets and everything in between!🦖🦕🌈🍓🫐

🍁Paint Paper Play will run all fall long on Fridays from 10-11am and Saturdays 9-10am. You can drop in for $8 or pay $28 for a full month (making it only $7/class). Full disclosure: we did raise our prices from the previous $6 a session, but that’s only so we can provide better quality materials and more unique experiences for your blossoming artist to explore. 🌷🥰

Don’t look it up — we’re experts. 🤫🙂‍↕️ Our artists all have such colorful personalities, and we love seeing those personalities shine through in their processes and their final pieces.☀️🫟🖼️ No matter how old you are, we hope you find some space for making stuff and being silly this week — both are critically important for the health and well-being of artists of all ages. Happy 5th Birthday to our little studio!🎂🥳 5️⃣🎉 This summer marks the 5th anniversary of Paint Paper Paste, and we are so thankful for the past half-decade(!) of memories with our young artists and their families.🥰 Thank you to every parent, every caregiver, every teacher, and every artist who has been a part of our P3 family over the past few years. We wouldn’t be able to do what we do without each and every one of you.🌟

One of our recurring taglines is “for the young at art.” While we do have a lot of young folks in our camps and classes, that tagline is not just about age. All art requires curiosity and wonder, and any act of creativity keeps us young in spirit. Our studio is getting older (we’re practically 35 in dog years!😱) and so are many of the young artists and families who have been with us for so long.🥹 But no matter how old we or our artists get, we hope you leave our studio feeling a little younger and a little more colorful than when you came in.🤍🎨

Thank you all for 5 wonderful years, and thank you for bringing so many wonderful colors to our rainbow. 🌈Here’s to the next half a decade!❤️💛💚💙💜
