In case you missed it, the school board officially approved these calendar changes for WCPSS, beginning in 2027-28. 🗓️

These schools will remain year round, but will have one single track instead of the multi-track calendars they currently have. This shift is due to changes in enrollment in these areas. 🏫

With the holidays coming up, here are a few tips to help you stay organized and ready to submit your applications:

✨ 1. Decode what you want in a school.
Make a list of "wants" and "needs" so you can evaluate schools.

🗓️ 2. Schedule tours and school visits
Make sure you get these on your family calendar now.

💬 3. Reach out early.
Ask teachers for recommendations well before the holidays.

📄 4. Sign up for testing.
Many school require testing, especially in older grade levels, schedule your testing now so you are ready.
