Private school applications often start earlier than families expect. Triangle area private schools will soon open applications for next fall— a full year before your child would actually start school.

That doesn’t mean you need to have everything figured out today. It just means it’s helpful to know the timeline so you have plenty of time to research schools, attend tours and open houses, ask questions, and think about what’s the right fit for your family.

We want to help families feel informed, not rushed. 💙

Private school applications often start earlier than families expect. Knowing that ahead of time can make the whole process feel a more manageable. Applications for private schools in the Triangle area will be opening soon for admission NEXT fall.

You don’t need to have everything figured out right now. Just knowing what’s coming, when it’s coming, and what questions to ask can make a big difference.

In case you missed it, the school board officially approved these calendar changes for WCPSS, beginning in 2027-28. 🗓️

These schools will remain year round, but will have one single track instead of the multi-track calendars they currently have. This shift is due to changes in enrollment in these areas. 🏫

It is no secret that Wake County is growing and in order to meet the growth and capacity needs, the district is looking at ways to balance school populations in a way that preserves access to high-quality education across all schools🌱
