This little boy has my heart! He is so special and has the world’s kindest parents! They truly love and care for their son. This little boy has a heart condition which made his parents wonder if he would ever sleep train. With a lot of love and patience he is doing so great. Many wishes to the Boone family! They have been such a joy! Here is the review: Angie helped me with my sanity when I was at my wits end when I started following a sleep training Facebook group and out of the bottom of Angie’s heart she reached out to me and gave me some advice. She taught me how to sleep train my five-month-old and would always answer my questions of concern within minutes. She was knowledgeable, thoughtful and helpful. When I started with Angie, my son would take multiple 30 minute naps and would wake up multiple times during the night. She had my son sleeping through the night and taking 1 to 2 hour naps on the third day of speaking with her. I would recommend Angie to anyone who needs help with their child sleeping

I hope everyone is having a great hump day! I have been thinking about why is sleep so important for everyone. Sleep not only recharges you but helps with mood. It helps with how your brain processes things and makes memories. Now how can we has adults get a better night sleep? A lot of the things that we talk about for babies to have a good night sleep work really well for adults. Having a set “bedtime” for yourself and a set “wake up.” Doing a wind down weather that’s reading a book, taking a shower, or watching a show. Also studies have shown you sleep better with white noise. So here is to a better nights for everyone. Not just the babies.

I don’t think we ask people enough how we are feeling. Are you stressed? Over worked? Tired? All of the above? It’s time to slow down and see how are we feeling. How are we coping with what is going on around us? How are you dealing with being a parent or caregiver? Take the time to ask your family and friends. Listen and help each other the best you can.

I don’t usually cook but when I do it’s for a baby. As a nanny I love making baby food. We stopped by the store and picked up a lot of veggies including this purple cauliflower. I can’t wait to work with it.

How to know when to drop from 2 naps to 1 nap a day! Typically that sleep transition will happen around the 1 year mark. Be on the look out for refusing to take the last nap and having night sleep thrown off. When you see those things happen it will be a great time to transition to a 1 nap a day schedule! My ideal nap time is 12:30-2:30.

Let me know if you think your child is ready to drop a nap!

The sleep environment is the first step in making sure your baby sleeps well at night. We want to make sure your baby can go to sleep during naps and bedtime.

What is a good sleep environment? Well first the room should be anywhere from 68-72 degrees. Secondly, black out curtains work so much better then the blinds. And lastly their sound machine should be as loud as a shower going full blast but kept 6 inches away from their head.

These for 3 basic tips that will help your set your baby up for success!
