Explorer Post 911 - Where can teens and young adults socialize with high ranking members of the North Carolina State Highway Patrol(NCSHP) learn from highly experienced EMS & fire professionals, go behind the scenes at a 911 Call center, and interact and share some laughs in a relaxed setting with professional from the Wake Tech Community College Public Safety Education Center? With Explorer Post 911! Future first responders ages 16-20 don't miss this unique hands on program. Explorer Post 911 meets on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays 6pm-730pm February - April 2025 and September 2025 -April 2026. Those participating in this first group will be the leaders when Post 911 starts back up in the fall. The NCSHP, Wake Tech, and Exploring - Occoneechee Scouting America Exploring Program welcome you to be part of the first 16 youth in the new NCSHP/Wake Tech Public Safety Explorer Post 911! Cost $62 for one year (365 days) and easy Scout financial assistance is available.No previous scouting experience required ALL are welcome!
