GOOD LUCK to our Medical Assisting students, Matt Holcomb & Santa Vicente Pelico, at the SkillsUSA National Leadership & Skills Conference in Atlanta this week!

They will be competing in Medical Math and Medical Terminology and will also serve as Alabama delegates in the election of national officers.

We are very proud of our SkillsUSA State Medalists! Congratulations! You all did a great job, and we appreciate how well you represented the NACC Chapter.

Here’s our winners list:

Matthew Holcomb took the GOLD medal in Medical Math and received a $2000 scholarship from the ACCS and a Lowe's $100 gift certficate.

Morgan Furgerson also grabbed the GOLD in Health Occupations Professional Portfolio and received and a Lowe's $100 gift certficate.

Santa Vicente Pelico captured the SILVER medal in Medical Terminology.

Kimberly Dominguez will be bringing home the BRONZE medal in Medical Math.

And…. the NACC Chapter was recognized for having the highest post-secondary membership.

Huge THANKS to our advisors too: Marilyn Dalton, Donna Moore, & Kristi Gant – we appreciate your time and effort in preparing & accompanying our competitors.
