This summer the MTT & ADM Bridge combo invited high school juniors and seniors to join our classes for a jam-packed week of skills previews:

Day 1: CAD modeling & Additive Rapid Prototyping
Day 2: CAM programming, Machine Setup, & Part Production
Day 3: More CAM, More Machining
Day 4: Quality Control, NC3 Caliper Certification

They did a great job and we are looking forward to having them back as full-timers soon!!

Such sad news.... Jose was truly an outstanding student. He loved a challenge, took on all tasks with a great attitude, and held himself to the highest of standards. The ADM program sends condolences to his family.

We will have an entry-level Additive Manufacturing course this summer! ADM 160 will meet one day a week and have flexible labs. Message us for more details.

Workforce Development Program Highlight.

“The curriculum of the ADM program includes skillsets related to the design, production, assembly, and inspection of parts.

For the design stage, students learn how to develop conceptual ideas into a working prototype. We create fit-test prototypes using additive manufacturing and are able to verify critical design features and quickly test multiple iterations of a design solution. Once the design is locked in, we move to the drawing stage. Students use CAD software to create 3D models and industry-standard technical drawings (or blueprints) that serve as the instructions for how to build or produce the part.

We collaboratively work with the Machine Tool program to incorporate CAM programming and production. Students learn entry-level programming and work in teams to complete design-build projects. During production, in-process measurement & quality control is used to verify the accuracy of the part features. Upon completion, a first-article inspection report documents a comparison of the final physical product against the specified design." - Mrs. Kelly DeAngelis
