This year, all of our special education classrooms are inside our school buildings. This creates more opportunities for students with all levels of need to learn and grow alongside their peers!

When students learn together they discover that differences make our school stronger. 💚

Thanks to the hard work of our amazing volunteers over the weekend, the Hudson Park Elementary campus is looking fantastic! A huge thank you to Terry Gibson, Charles Weaver, Josh and Jessica Thomas, Molly Moon, and our energetic student helpers. Keep an eye out for upcoming campus cleanup opportunities throughout the year as we continue working together to keep our school community looking its best! Welcome to the 2026-2027 school year. It's going to be a fabulous year!

We'll be refreshing flower beds, trimming bushes, and cleaning sidewalks and play areas.

Please bring any yard or garden tools you have—including w**d eaters, blowers, rakes, pruning shears, and more.

Update! We've learned of additional students whose poems were accepted for publication. We hope you'll take the time to read!

We want to wish a very warm congratulations to incoming 7th-graders Allison Robinson, Benjamin Tygret, Ellie Waliezer, Bransen Coates, and Gabe Dobbel, whose poems have been selected for publication! Submitted through Kathleen Johnstun’s class, Allison’s poem “Tracing Childhood Dreams,” Benjamin’s “The Fight Between Brothers,” Ellie’s “Hourglass," Bransen's "Sharon the Chinchilla," and Gabe's "Why? How?" are now registered in the America Library of Poetry 2026 Student Poetry Contest. The winners will be selected at the end of September. Additionally, the poems are among a select cross-section of this year’s submissions that will be included in a compilation book of student poetry titled, “With Honors.” Congratulations, Allison, Benjamin, Ellie, and Bransen! We are so proud!
