Our Livestock Judging Team had a great day at the Clatsop County Fair sharpening their evaluation and oral reasoning skills! Thank you to everyone who helped make this practice opportunity possible. Every class, set of reasons, and conversation is helping our members grow in confidence and prepare for a successful competition season. We’re excited to see all of their hard work pay off! 🌟🐄🐑🐖

Meet Conner!
This year, Conner is exhibiting his market turkeys, including Iris.
After graduation, Conner plans to enter the workforce.
💬 Biggest lesson learned:�"Anything can happen—from predators to disease. You always have to be prepared."
💡 Advice for freshmen:�"Always have fun. Even when things seem difficult, they'll get better."

🌾 Support Rainier FFA at the Columbia County Youth Livestock Auction! 🐄🐖🐐🐇🦃🐓
Behind every market animal is a student who has spent months learning responsibility, work ethic, financial management, animal care, and leadership. The Columbia County Youth Livestock Auctionis more than an auction—it's an investment in the next generation of agricultural leaders. The auction is organized by the Columbia County Friends of the Fair Youth Livestock Auction to support local 4-H and FFA exhibitors.

📅 Auction Day: Saturday, July 18 at 1:00 PM

Whether you're a business owner, community member, family member, or friend, there are several ways you can support our Rainier FFA exhibitors:

🐮 Purchase an animal at the auction.
💙 Can't buy an animal? Consider making an Add-On Donation!

An Add-Onis a monetary contribution made directly to an exhibitor's project. It's a great way to recognize a student's hard work without purchasing livestock. 100% of every Add-On goes directly to the exhibitor, helping them continue their agricultural projects, save for college, purchase next year's animal, or invest in their future. Add-ons can be made online or by mail through the Columbia County Friends of the Fair Youth Livestock Auction. (https://ccffyla.org/)
