The original information we received indicated that the male in question was seen at multiple daycares. However, that has proven to be inaccurate and we are still confident that he is not related to the reported incidents in Ashville. We will continue extra patrols for precautionary measures.

Statement Concerning Reports of Suspicious Activity at Daycares
The Rainbow City Police Department was notified of a suspicious person that has been seen at multiple daycares inside of Rainbow City. We are also aware of the circulating post from a church in Ashville, AL that sparked concern here in Rainbow City.
At this time, we have identified the male that was observed at the daycares and there are no indications that this person is related to the incidents that were reported in Ashville.
We have increased extra patrols of local daycares as a precautionary measure.
As always, if you see something suspicious, please report it to law enforcement.
