ECYC is committed to providing an individualized, developmentally appropriate program of quality care and education for infants through full day kindergarten and summer school age. More than just a child care program, we strive to empower each child to become a confident, lifelong learner and a secure, caring person. We promote a positive self-concept to include the acceptance of many different cultural and family backgrounds. We encourage ongoing open communication among all staff and families to ensure a partnership between the parents/guardians and the staff in planning for the ongoing progress and development of the children. Through a specifically designed discovery-based curriculum, we foster all aspects of development: large and small motor, cognitive, perceptual, social, emotional, creative, and expressive language. Our environment is free of bias and celebrates diversity as well as being a supportive place for children to grow and develop their skills in accordance with their abilities and temperament.
