The Hoke County delegates had a fantastic time last week at NC 4-H Congress in Raleigh! They made new friends, explored potential career pathways, took part in meaningful community service projects, and got a taste of life on the campus of NC State University. One of the highlights was experiencing their very first Candelight Closing Ceremony in the historic Dorton Arena. They’re already looking forward to returning next year!
We are so grateful to Moore and Montgomery Counties for letting us hang out and move through the week together at Congress. It was great connecting, sharing experiences, and making memories alongside your amazing delegates!

Youth had a blast with Ms. T during the past 3-days at Camp Cook & Play! They learned essential knife safety skills and put them to use by making delicious fruit and veggie kabobs, breakfast bars, and yogurt pops. To top it all off, enjoyed a lively dance activity that got everyone moving and laughing.
It was a fun and flavorful way to build confidence in the kitchen while staying active!

Our first day of 4-H Summer Fun kicked off yesterday with a bang!. The “Rev Up Your Engines” program was a huge hit, as youth explored the exciting history of racing - both locally and across the country. Participants got creative designing their own race cars and tested their skills in time trials to see who was the fastest!
Thank you Christopher Turner-Blue for sharing your knowledge of the sport.
